In 2015 – 2016 our Brownies had another very busy and eventful year.
We had a Halloween party, St Andrews Night, Chinese New Year night and an Easter Egg Hunt and craft activities
The Brownies went to the pantomime in Glasgow as a district with all Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from Prestwick and had a trip to LA Bowl.
The girls completed their Cooks Badge and Healthy Heart Badge. We also completed the Out and About badge which took us out around Prestwick following clues, road signs and paying attention to crossing roads safely and our final clue took us to Costleys Ice cream shop for an ice cream.
Our trip this year took us to the Coco bean chocolate factory in Dumfries where the girls made their own chocolate out of moulds and tasted the chocolate as they went along. We also enjoyed the good weather and had the Brownies outside in the church garden toasting marshmallows on BBQs and playing water games and also having great fun on the waterslide and getting soaking wet.
We meet on a Monday evening between 6.30 and 7.45, and girls aged 7 can join.
